First Edition, With Dustwrapper

'On the Choice of a Profession' was unpublished in Stevenson's lifetime, and was first published in 'Scribner's Magazine' in 1915. This copy was the first time the essay was issued in book form. Complete with the uncommon original dustwrapper.

Condition

In a quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards, complete with unclipped dustwrapper in protective Brodart wraps. Externally, smart, some slight rubbing to cloth and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright with light spotting to first and last few pages. Dustwrapper very smart with minor marking, discolouration and chipping.
