This volume is edited by Sir Lees Knowles. The letters give insight into the daily life of Napoleon whilst at Longwood.
Two folding colour plates and twelve further plates and a frontispiece.
Collated, complete.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Front and rear hinges are starting but remain firm. Frontispiece is loosening from the binding but remains bound. Internally, generally firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
