A Song of the English is a poem by Rudyard Kipling which was first published in Illustrated Magazine in 1893 and included six subsidiary songs. The collections of poems and songs explore the idea that the English are chosen under the Lord, so long as they obey the law.

This is a beautifully illustrated copy of this collection of poetry, illustrated by W. Heath Robinson. With sixteen tipped in colour plates and many black and white illustrations throughout the text.
