What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding
The title of this collection is named after the first story to this collection. There are twelve stories to this work total.
These tales are one of Lawrence's most praised collections.
D.H. Lawrence was an English novelist, poet, playwright, essayist, literary critic and painter. He endured official persecution, censorship and misrepresentation of his creative work throughout the second half of his life.
This early impression has the gilt titles to the boards and spine. There are also twenty pages to the publisher's catalogue to the rear. This makes this publication a first issue according to Roberts, or a second issue according to MacDonald. Bibliographers disagree on this particular issue.
