The first edition of this work in the publisher's original paper wraps. Inscribed by the author to "C. Hyman Esq." to the front of the wraps. This paper was printed from a paper read at the Garton Foundation Conference at Old Jordan's Hostel on 18th July, 1914, by Reginald O. Kapp. It discusses the failure of sociology as a science to solve social problems and prevent war. There is a preface to this paper which links the failure of sociology with the beginning of the First World War. With publisher's advertisements to the first and last pages.
Condition
In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally generally smart, though a little sunned to the wraps, with a small tear to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with the odd spot.
