Condition
In the publisher's original decorative cloth binding. Externally, smart with good colour, with bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Spine is sunned slightly. Book is slightly cocked. Previous bookseller's bookplate to the front pastedown. Tipped in prize bookplate to the verso of the front free-endpaper. Internally, hinges slightly tender but firm. Binding is slightly loosening in places and the frontispiece is detached but present. Some age-toning to the front free-endpapers and a few light spots to the first and last few pages, but otherwise pages are generally clean.
