The tenth edition of the work, first published in 1878. With 133 illustrations, and upwards of 2700 facsimiles of plate marks. Wilfred Joseph Cripps was a well known antiquarian and expert on antique silver plate. He wrote a number of works on the subject, with this relating specifically to English plate.

Condition

In the original green cloth binding. Externally very smart with slight shelf wear to the extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with marginal age toning to the extremities.
