    First English edition, originally published the same year in New York. Written by British sociologist, and founder of the Sociological Society, Victor Branford.

    Condition

    In original cloth binding with gilt lettering to the front board, and spine. Externally, sound, although with some light rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound, bright and generally clean, aside from the odd handling mark, and institutional blind stamp to the title page. Many leaves are uncut.
