The first edition of this work. A scarce work. This work documents the streams and rivers found in Glasgow, written inspired by the author's summer walks around the green hills and grey moorlands that lie around Glasgow. Illustrated with a frontispiece, vignette title page, three plates, and numerous in-text and full page illustrations. Written and illustrated by T. C. F. Brotchie. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A few marks to the rear board. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A couple of spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
