What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

First edition. Very scarce. The Reverend Hugh Mackworth was rarely in such high spirits as this morning as he was expecting post from stockbrokers which would provide enough money for his to complete the church restoration. When the letter finally arrived, it seemed the money had been lost. Written by James Blyth, a prolific British author recognised for his contribution to science fiction in the future war genre.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting predominantly to the first and last few pages. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
