The scarce first edition of this work.

In a facsimile dustwrapper.

An entertaining short story collection by Bram Stoker, containing nine stories in total.

This volume includes 'Dracula's Guest', 'The Judge's House', 'The Squaw', 'The Secret of the Growing Gold', 'A Gipsy Prophecy', 'The Coming of Abel Behenna', 'The Burial of the Rats', 'A Dream of Red Hands', and 'Crooken Sands'.

'Dracula's Guest' is believed to have originally been written as the first chapter of Stoker's novel 'Dracula', being deleted prior to publication as it was superfluous to the story.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in a facsimile dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Light marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the spine and extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Facsimile dustwrapper is in a fine condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few odd spots.
