'Misalliance, with The Dark Lady of the Sonnets and Fanny's First Play', the first edition, published in 1914.
'Androcles and the Lion, with Overruled, and Pygmalion', published in 1923.
George Bernard Shaw was a leading Irish playwright and activist, massively influential on theatre, culture, and politics in the West. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1925.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards. Dust wrappers are edge worn and chipped, chipping heavier to 'Androcles', with a large chip to the head of the spine, and closed tears to the rear joint and spine, and a couple of small tape repairs to the reverse. Spines are a little age-toned with some light spots. Torn label to the spine of the 'Misalliance' dust wrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
