A very scarce sammelband in the original cloth binding.
A collection of very scarce copies of the patriotic journal 'Bristol and the War', published between October 1914 and June 1917, at first fortnightly, then monthly, and later bi-monthly. Articles include subjects such as the Gloucester Regiment, Belgian refugees, Bristolians on active service, the King and Queen's visit to Bristol, Canadian troops in Bristol, and Bristol's Red Cross, alongside numerous photographs and advertisements.

Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally smart, though lightly worn to the extremities and joints, with a tear to the cloth to the rear joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are occasionally age toned, but generally bright and clean.
