Publishers' Original Binding

This novel follows Stephen Stratton addressing a letter to his eldest son as he reminisces on the great love of his life. It was written following the death of Wells' father.

Herbert George Wells (1866-1946) was a prolific English writer, known for covering various different genres but primarily remembered for his contributions to the field of science fiction, with works including 'The Invisible Man', 'The War of the Worlds' and 'The Time Machine'.

A first edition, later impression, with eight pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and some slight loss to the cloth of the front board. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
