An early reprint of this lesser known Bram Stoker novel, set in Aberdeenshire.

'The Mystery of the Sea' follows the adventure of an Englishman as he falls in love with an American heiress who is involved with intrigues of the Spanish-American War.

An exciting political thriller, this novel has many of the same supernatural themes of Stoker's best known 'Dracula'.

Two leaves of adverts to the front, four pages of adverts to the rear.

Part of 'Rider's Shilling Novels' series.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Some light marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine is a little discoloured. Hinges are strained. Lacking the rear endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are age-toned and clean, with the occasional spot.
