What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated

A fascinating technical insight into motoring at the start of the twentieth century, detailing the engineering and technology of motor cars.

Written by Rankin Kennedy (1854-1917), an engineering author and inventor whose other works included many contributions to The Engineer.

Each volume is complete with a pop-up frontispiece to the pastedown; the pop-up is lacking to volume II and torn to the first volume with loss.

Lacking the fourth volume, which was published later.

Richly illustrated with vignette photographs and diagrams; volume I also contains eight plates, volume II eight plates and volume III seven. Collated, complete.

Undated; dated from copies held on Jisc.

A fantastic and informative set.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with a little wear to the head and tail of the spine and extremities.
