A signed first edition of this collection of poetry from American Imagist poet and Pulitzer Prize winner, John Gould Fletcher.
Inscribed by Fletcher to the front free endpaper: 'To my friend C. W. Beaumont, John Gould Fletcher May 7, 1913'.
Divided into two sections, the titular 'Fire' and 'Wine', this work is filled with charming examples of the short poems of Fletcher, and was one of his earliest published works.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Shelf wear to back strip head and tail, otherwise, externally excellent. Author's inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
