An interesting study of Napoleon's time spent in Egypt, during a military expedition he led there. 

The 1798-1801 campaign saw Napoleon proclaiming to defend French trade interests in Egypt and Syria.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, vignette title page, and in-text illustrations throughout.

Original front wrap is bound in.

Condition

In a half morocco binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Small crack to the head of the front joint. Light rubbing to the boards and spine. A couple of faint marks to the boards. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few odd spots.
