This work was illustrated and written by Walter Tyndale, a British watercolour artist and travel writer. The work documents Tyndale's travels in Italy, with beautifully painted illustrations of the landscapes, streets, architecture and people.
Undated, dated by copies held at the British Library.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with fading to the spine, bumping and rubbing to the extremities, slight rubbing to the joints, small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine and marks to the boards. Front hinge starting after the first blank. Spotting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages with only minimal age toning to the extremities and spotting to the front and rear few pages.
