The Kirriemuir Edition. This edition is named after the burgh that Barrie was born in, and is now buried in the Kirriemuir Cemetary.

A collection of the works of J. M. Barrie.

Barrie is one of the most beloved Scottish authors of all time, with his children's tale 'Peter Pan' becoming one of the most classic pieces of children's literature ever.

Besides 'Peter Pan', Barrie wrote many other successful works, but his magical adventure always overshadowed his other publications. Barrie was inspired to write Peter Pan by the Llewelyn Davies boys, and set the tale partly in Kensington Gardens, London. There's now a charming statue of the magical character in the Park.

His other notable works include 'The Little White Bird', an adult novel that ranges in tone from fantasy to whimsical dark social commentary. This work saw the first appearance of Peter Pan.

Containing; 'Peter and Wendy', 'An Edinburgh Eleven and Better Dead', 'When a Man's Single, a Tale of Literary Life', 'Sentimental Tommy, the Story of His Boyhood', 'My Lady Nicotine', 'Auld Licht Idylls', 'A Window in Thrums and Margaret Ogilvy', 'The Little Minister', 'The Little White Bird', 'Tommy and Grizel', and 'The Plays of J. M. Barrie'.

'Plays' illustrated with a frontispiece.
