Parkman was best known as the author of 'The Oregon Trail', a first person account of a two month summer tour of four American states, which is present in this set.

Condition

In the publisher's original limp morocco bindings, with bright unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, fine. Minor losses of paper to dust wrapper back strip heads and tails, with a small closed tear to the tail of 'Le Salle' back strip. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned to perimeters, but otherwise exceptionally clean and bright.
