Rebound in a quarter morocco binding over cloth covered boards. Externally sound with some shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, minor rubbing to the spine. With evidence of the attempted removal of a bookplate to the front and rear pastedowns. The hinges are professionally tape reinforced. The front free endpaper clipped to the upper corner. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are generally very clean throughout with the occasional minor odd spotting and minor markings. Illustrated with seven full page plates and numerous figures in text. Collated, complete.
