A lovely copy of this charming early twentieth century children's tale, with verse from Richard Waylett, and illustrated throughout by artist and illustrator Cecil Aldin.

The first edition; dates 1912 via Jisc and WorldCat. However, a former owner's inscription to the front free endpaper reads 'Mary Duncan 1911'.
