In the publisher's original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, generally sound, with some sunning and age-toning to the boards. Some loss to the tail of the spine, and a few marks to the boards. Containing a previous owner's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper, dated 1942. Internally, firmly bound. Instances of light spotting to the pages, which are otherwise generally clean.
