In a full calf prize binding from Ormskirk Grammar school. With prize bookplate to the front pastedown. Illustrated throughout with numerous diagrams and photographs. It is a fascinating educational work. Written by Thomas W Corbin, an author of many interesting works such as Engineering of To-Day and The Romance of War Inventions.

Condition

In a full calf binding with gilt stamping to the spine and boards. Externally, very smart with small patches of rubbing to the joints and to the extremities. Small loss to the head of spine due to rubbing. Prize bookplate to front pastedown, Ormskirk Grammar School. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned to edges and generally clean throughout.
