Sheffield plate is a layered combination of silver and copper that was used for many year to produce a wide range of household items.
Richly illustrated throughout with photographs and drawings of specimens and the factories.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light marks to the boards and light bumping to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. In the original unclipped dust wrapper which is generally smart with some marks to the wraps and some chipping to the head of the spine.
