A travel work exploring Dhaka at the beginning of the twentieth century, when the country was under the control of the British Empire.

Illustrated with one folding maps.

Written by B. C. Allen, who was in the Indian Civil Service.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, with some small worming holes to the boards. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Some minor marks to the boards and spine. Worming to pastedowns and endpapers. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound, with some detached pages. Pages are bright and generally clean. Worming throughout the textblock and to the folding map.
