A detailed work on making and managing a herb-garden, with chapters on annual and biennial hers, aromatic herbs, perennial herbs, the ten kinds of mint, colour in the garden, fragrance in the garden, and much more. Written by Frances A. Bardswell, a British author and gardener. Illustrated by the Honourable Florence Margaret Amherst, an English illustrator, and Isabelle Forrest, a British artist and illustrator.

Condition

In the original pictorial purple cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light age toning to the endpapers.
