'Arabian Nights', or 'One Thousand and One Nights', is a collection of folk tales from the Middle East. It was collected over centuries, with the roots of the tales being traced from Greek, Indian, Arabic, Persian, Turkish, and Jewish folklore.

Retold by Laurence Housman. 

Illustrated in colour by Edmund Dulac with twenty-four plates. Collated and complete. 

In the publisher's original decorative cloth with a coloured plate to the front board.

Condition

In the publisher's original decorative cloth. Externally, very smart, with just a touch shelf, and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, plate to 'Story of My Life' is detached but present. Remaining binding is generally firm. Light spotting to the extremities of the pages, which are otherwise clean.
