Early Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

Early edition of Scottish National Exhibition Glasgow in quarter cloth binding and blue and green tartan paper boards and gilt lettering and design. 

A scarce edition, particularly in this binding. 

A souvenir of the Scottish Exhibition of National History, Art and Industry held in Glasgow 1911. It ran from May to November and recorded over 9.3 million visits. 

Complete with twenty one unpaginated pages of monochrome photographs of the exhibition, from the original photographers to the Exhibition and the publishers, T. & R. Annan & Sons.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding and paper boards. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There are some noticeable marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
