    Description

    Large folding map loosely inserted to the rear. 

    This work was produced for the guidance of Guggisberg's assistants during his time as director of surveys in that colony. 

    A very scarce work, which provides fascinating insight into the work Guggisberg completed in Nigeria.

    Condition

    In a full cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Patches of rubbing to the boards and spine. Internally, binding is strained at pages 80-83; 128-129. Map is loosely inserted to rear. Pages are bright. Occasional light spots to pages. Map is generally smart, with some tidemarks to the linen backing, which is visible to the map.
