This work provides a visual and descriptive guide to English gardens with beautifully painted illustrations by British watercolour painter Beatrice Parsons and descriptions by E. T. Cook. The work takes you on a tour of various gardens through England including the rose garden at Drakelowe, Holyrood House and Ayscough Fee Hall.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally generally smart with a closed tear to the cloth to the head of the front joint resulting in the head of the spine lifting slightly and minor loss to the cloth to the rear joint, a very slight lean, very light fading to the spine and the odd slight mark to the rear board. Internally firmly bound with occasional light spotting and very lightly age toned pages.
