First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, Uncommon

A first edition copy of this work by hunting and travel writing. Handsomely bound in the publisher's original cloth binding. This work is an account of both author's travels through India, and the hunting and sport they took part in whilst there. With a signature that reads 'Aubrey O'Brien' to the half title page. Aubrey O'Brien was a British Indian Army Officer who wrote numerous works on the county of India. Co-written with Reginald Bolster. This work is illustrated throughout with 28 plates. Collated complete. Plates include images of the animals hunted on the trip. With a publisher's catalogue to the rear of the volume.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and also to the extremities. Light fading to the spine. Heavy offsetting to the front and rear endpapers, with light spots to the front and rear pastedown. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright with the odd spot. Ink inscription to the half title page.
