First edition of Cartoons: The Second Childhood of John Bull by Max Beerbohm in the original publisher's quarter cloth binding and paper wrapped boards. 

Illustrated with fifteen colour lithographs accompanied by text. Collated, complete. These illustrations were first drawn in 1901. 

Includes titles such as 'I'm going to see this through' and 'Lest We Forget Ourselves'. 

Max Beerbohm was an English caricaturist and parodist. This is his fourth collection of cartoons. 

Undated, dated from Jisc.


Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper wrapped boards. Externally, sound. There is bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is wear to the cloth on the spine and some slight loss to the bottom right edge of the front board. The hinges are starting. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some occasional spots.
