First edition of Alone in West Africa by Mary Gaunt in the original publisher's cloth binding.
An uncommon edition. Undated, dated through Jisc. Later editions were also published in New York by Charles Scribner's Sons.
Illustrated with ninety seven monochrome plates including a frontispiece. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, sound. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is some marking to the boards. The hinges are strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
