Illustrated with sixty lovely colour plates by Emily Ledbrook, an English artist known for her botanical images.

A collection of verses from the plays and poetry of William Shakespeare, focused on the beauty of flowers and plants. Compiled by Rose E. Carr Smith, with a foreword by Herbert Carr Smith.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with fading to the spine. Gilt remains bright. Small abrasion to the front board, which is slightly warped. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
