Description

Folding Plates

Dealing with the banking and economies of Europe prior to the First World War, the works are particularly interesting given the outbreak of the conflict in the following years, with the mislead and futile rivalries held between various nations making a huge impact upon their spending and economies. Also included here is a section on Japan, who were then reeling still from the Russo-Japanese War. An interesting document from an American perspective, and from a position of neutrality that was dearly held in the country before their first intervention in European matters in the imminent war. The full list of works included here are as follows: Volume V - The National Banking System by Andrew Macfarland Davis, A.D. Noyes and O.M.W. Sprague Volume X - The Reichsbank and Renewel of its Charter Volume XII - The German Bank Inquiry of 1908 Part One Volume XIII - The German Bank Inquiry of 1908 Part Two Volume XV - Banking In France and The French Bourse by Andred Liesse, Maurice Patron and E.Vidal Volume XVII: Banking in Sweden and Switzerland by A.W. Flux and Julius Landmann Volume XVIII: Banking in Italy, Russia, Austro-Hungary, and Japan by Tito Canovai and Carlo F. Ferraris Volume XIX: Administrative Features Of National Banking Laws and European Fiscal and Postal Savings Systems by J.O. Manson
