'Rime of the Ancient Mariner' is the longest major poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, which explores the experiences of a sailor who has returned from a long sea voyage.
The poem was first published in 1798 in Coleridge's 'Lyrical Ballads', an anthology which is considered to mark the beginning of Romantic literature.
Willy Pogany was an eminent Hungarian illustrator known for his Art Nouveau style.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, neatly rebacked. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light discolouration to the spine. Some minor marks to the boards and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few scattered spots. Bookplate to the half-title.
