Reproducing the very scarce and curious work by the "Bisshop of Arusiens", entitled "a litil boke for the Pestilence", the work offers an explanation into the manuscript, a treatise on cures for various illnesses and the Black Death. Direct from the library of the late Hugh Selbourne MD (1906-1973), a noted book collector and diarist.

Condition

In paper-covered boards with gilt detailing. Externally sound. Spotting and marking to boards. Slight wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with the odd spot.
