Description

Colour Plates, Folding Plates, Illustrated

Author of Old Lace, a Handbook for Collectors. With numerous black and white plates throughout. With a coloured fold-out embroidery sample to the front of the volume.

Condition

In a red cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine and front board. Externally, sound with slight rubbing. Spine is sunned. Internally, generally firmly bound, though front hinge is tender. Pages are generally bright and clean with some browning to the end papers. There is an ink inscription to the recto of front papers. There is a bookseller's label to the front pastedown.
