'Rewards and Fairies' is a collection of historical fantasy short stories by Rudyard Kipling.
The stories and poems in this work are a linked narrative. It follows Kipling's other work, 'Puck of Pook's Hill', and is set one year later.
The stories follow Dan and Una who live in the Weald of Sussex, two children who had encountered Puck. He magically conjures up real and fictional characters to tell stories to the children.
Illustrated with four plates.
Collated, complete.
Kipling is best known for his works 'The Jungle Book', and 'Kim'. He was born in India and found a lot of his work inspired by the country, and he was one of the most popular writers of his time.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Spine is a little faded. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few minor marks to the boards. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with some odd spots.
