The first edition of this work. 18,600 first edition copies of this work were printed, with this being one of the 7,600 domestic UK copies with the Nash imprint. This was released on the 10th September 1910, two days after the US edition.
The novel had first appeared serially in Nash's Magazine.
Illustrated with a colour frontispiece by Cyrus Cuneo.
A classic 'lost race' novel from Haggard, in which plotting priests, beautiful women, and dashing British adventurers all feature.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Light spotting to fore edge of text block. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned due to paper type, but otherwise clean and bright.
