The book includes an introduction by Mrs. R. L. Stevenson on the importance of the prayers, and of her family's life on the island of Samoa. The pages have been beautifully designed, 'written out' and illuminated by Alfredo Sangorski. This copy is lacking its original dustwrapper.

Condition

In a full paper vellum binding with gilt title to front board and spine. Externally cocked. Rubbed to extremities, boards and spine. Sunning to front board and spine. Offsetting and scattered spots to front and rear free-endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean throughout.
