A lovely study of the art of Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

Rossetti's art holds an important place in history, as he established the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood alongside William Holman Hunt and John Everett Millais. His art is known for its sensuality, bringing about a medieval revival.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, and forty-eight plates.

Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of Oxford Libaries.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards and spine, rear board and spine are a little faded. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only a few spots, not to the plates.
