What Our Customers Say...
Illustrated, Limited Edition, Signed
This edition de luxe is limited to five hundred copies, of which this is number 324. Signed by illustrator Everard Hopkins. Twelve colour tipped in plates by Everard Hopkins, who also illustrated works of Tennyson, Meade and worked for Punch magazine. The work may have been written as an answer to Tobais Smollett's decidedly unsentimental Travels Through France and Italy and recounts the amorous adventures of Reverend Mr. Yorick.
In a cloth binding with gilt blindstamped detailing to front board. Externally, sound with some marks to boards and cockling to cloth of rear board. Corners and head and tail of spine are bumped. Internally, firmly bound with pages bright and clean, though some light foxing to end papers.
