With publisher's adverts to the rear of both volumes.
Collated, both volumes are complete.

Sven Hedin was a geographer, topographer and explorer. He went on four expeditions to Central Asia and made the Trans Himalaya known to the West through his publications. He was also responsible for locating the sources of Brahmaputra, Indus and Sutlej Rivers.
An important work that popularised Trans Himalaya to the west.
In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Externally, very smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of spine. A few light marks to the spine of volume I. Stamp to the front pastedowns. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Scattered spots to the first and last few pages. Otherwise, just the odd spot.
