Reprinted and published by Chatto and Windis in the early 20th century, this book is a importnat piece of hunting history. Edited by William Adolf Baillie Grohman and F. Bailie-Grohman. William Adolf Baillie Grohman was an hunting historian and games sportsman. With an introduction by the then president of the united states, Theodore Roosevelt. Illustrated with numerous plates. Collated complete. With the bookplate of R. E. M. Pilcher to the front pastedown. R. E. M. Pilcher was an author, best known for his work 'The History of Borough Fen Decoy'.

Condition

In the publisher original cloth binding. Externally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and also to the extremities. Bookplate to the front pastedown, with light offsetting to the front endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Pages are generally clean with the odd spot.
