With the first edition first issue misprint to page 79 line 16 with the word "very" for "every", as cited in "A Bibliography of the Works of Sir Henry Rider Haggard 1856-1925" by J. E. Scott.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with fading to the spine, bumping and slight rubbing to the extremities and rubbing to the joints. Offsetting to the free endpapers. Front hinge starting after front blank. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with the odd minor handling mark and very light spotting to the half title.
