The author of this scarce, privately published work was Ralph Huntington Blanchard, the proprietor of 'Blanchard's Egyptian Museum, Cairo'.
An avid collector of Egyptian amulets and jewellery, Blanchard presents images and descriptions of a series of such specimens, with pottery dating from between 700 and 30 B.C., and bronzes from around 1000 to 30 B.C.
Illustrated with fifty-four photographic plates. Collated, complete.
A signed copy of this scarce early twentieth century work of Egyptology.
Condition
In a full calf binding, rebacked, with original boards restored. Significant rubbing and losses to leather at board perimeters. Inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
