    Colour Plates, First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    First edition of Ginger & Pickles by Beatrix Potter in the original publisher's paper backed pictorial boards. 

    This is the first or second issue with the date to the title page and recto of title page (Quinby 17. p71).

    A lovely illustrated children's book from the early twentieth century by iconic British author and illustrator Beatrix Potter, creator of the beloved Peter Rabbit. 

    With colour illustrations throughout. 

    Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's pictorial hardback binding. Externally, smart. There is bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The board are age toned. The binding is loose to the first fifteen pages which are not bound to the spine. Internally, loosely bound. The pages are bright and clean with some light age toning.
